Dear Friends of the Clover,

Welcome to The Clover Chronicles—we are glad you are here! Thank you for continuing to follow and support our rescue and mission. As a new rescue, our current efforts are largely focused on fundraising and making connections with like-minded, passionate community members. From exotic vets to foster families, these partnerships will help us build a solid foundation from which we can continue to build our rescue.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—our very first rescue rabbits are set to arrive in early September, coming from a rescue mission in Utah! Be sure to follow us on social media for the latest updates as we prepare to welcome them!

Here’s to the lucky ones—every rescued rabbit and every human with the heart to save them.

With our sincerest gratitude,

The Hoppy Clover Rabbit Rescue Team

🍀 Enrichment 🍀

Stacking Cups

Rabbits are incredibly smart and curious creatures. Giving them opportunities to explore and engage their natural instincts leads to a happier, healthier companion. The good news? Enrichment doesn’t have to break the bank!

One budget-friendly favorite: hard plastic stacking cups. These can often be found in the baby aisle at local stores—or even at Dollar Tree. Try hiding a few of their favorite pellets between the cups, then stack them up. You’ll be amazed watching your bunny push, toss, and even lift individual cups with their teeth in search of treats. It’s a simple way to turn snack time into playtime.

The Garden Hop Shop*

The Garden Hop Shop is a new online boutique that focuses on providing organic treats and enrichment toys that are free from glue, dyes and BPA. Owner Cynthia Vannatter, who has 8 rescue rabbits and 2 fosters of her own, found herself constantly crafting treats and toys to keep up with their needs. What started as a practical solution quickly became a creative passion—Cynthia loved designing unique, safe products she could fully trust. Cynthia has a deep commitment to animal rescue and fostering and donates 10% of all proceeds to rabbit rescues at the end of the year.

The Garden Hop Shop just introduced their "Haunted Hop Collection," a selection of Halloween and fall-themed treats and toys. Readers of HCRR can use the code GARDENHOP for 20% off your entire purchase now through September 20.

Bunch of Fresh Dandelions
Bunch of Fresh Dandelions

Dandelion is not just a weed! The leaves, stems and flowers are edible for rabbits and can be feed fresh or dried. Make sure to source your dandelion from areas free of pesticides, herbacides or other harmful chemicals. If you are not growing the dandelion yourself, it is recommended to purchase organic dandelion from the grocery store.

Dandelion is not only tasty for rabbits, but also has many health benefits. It is a natural diuretic and is rich in nutrients that may help support kidney and liver health, digestion and overall wellness.
